Wednesday Night at the Royal Oak Emagine Theatre

Known for decades now as Fashionable Ferndale, the dynamic burg fronting Historic Woodward Avenue will soon host the 3rd annual Ferndale Film Festival, now a signature event on the calendar for the creative community. The Ferndale Film Festival, dubbed in hipster lexicon as F3, will take place November 2-6, 2011 at diverse locations throughout the city. Featuring the latest and greatest in indie films from Michigan and beyond, including features, documentaries, children's films, workshops, exhibitions, VIP events and more, the F3 Board of Directors welcomes all filmmakers, fans and families for another weekend of visual wonder.

2011 Micro Mini Challenge is calling on local filmmakers to create a movie less than 300 seconds with the subject matter of "Made in Michigan" .. any genre!!!!
